Role and Responsibilities:
- Role Introduction: Development of components in Watson machine learning
- WML has few components that are developed by the ISL. This includes the Deployment and python Runtimes and a python client. These are mostly coded in scala and python. Hence we are looking to scala or python programmers who can work on this deployment component and Runtimes and client
- Code new enhancement and features for Watson machine learning
- Write Unit test cases and FVT test cases
- Fix bugs opened by SVT before promotion to production
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Solid Programming Skills and thinking
- In-depth understanding of Good Computer science skills like DataStructure and Algorithms
- Understanding of basic Machine Learning algorithms and approaches
- Understanding of Functional Programming language [Scala/ Java lamda]
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Understanding of Python Programming language
- You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with a creative approach to work
