- Should have knowledge of access lists
- knowledge of Broadcast/Multicast/unicast
- knowledge of ranges for the private IP
- Should have knowledge of subnetting
- knowledge of DHCP
- Understanding of cables
- Understanding of full-duplex from half-duplex
Security:-
- Should have knowledge of IDS and IPS
- Should know IPsec VPNs on firewalls and routers
- Syslog severity levels understanding
