Eligibility :
- 3 - 5+ years of experience developing software with Java/C/C++ or Python
- Strong analytical skills and experience as a development engineer
- Experience with SOAP or REST, J2EE concepts, one or more of J2EE application frameworks is required
- Expertise in Linux internals, Commands, Shell programming required

Job Description:
Design and implement new Auto support and Hardware monitoring features for Veritas NetBackup Appliances
- Deliver seamless integration with underlying SOA architecture. Automate tests and maintain software modules to high-quality standards
- Verify solutions by developing and implementing monitoring systems and automated tests
- Work with the Product architects to take ownership of functional areas within the Auto support framework
- Collaborate with Product Management and other engineering and QA teams
- Troubleshoot field issues related to functionality, performance and scalability.
- Verify process activities that ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and demos
- Participate in peer reviews
- Collaborate with local and offshore co-workers
- Excellent debug and problem-solving either individually or within a team
- Work with your scrum team to continuously improve processes
