HERE Technologies in Content Engineering organization, we are looking for a highly-skilled, self-motivated, Lead Software Engineer who is passionate about developing efficient tools and services for Big Data automation in AWS to build our industry-leading map. We provide the opportunity to collaborate with an energetic and dedicated team that works on cutting-edge technology to create tools and services for capture and ingestion of various sources. The candidate will work with developers, architects, IT to develop, deploy, and maintain applications in multiple environments.

Eligibility :

B.E. /M.E. degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree from reputed college/university
3-5 years of hands-on application design and development experience
Demonstrated expertise building and enhancing Web-based applications
Experience in using UI frameworks/libraries
Good to know Java or Python or Scala
Exposure to Web Services, REST services
Exposure to SQL
Exposure to unit testing frameworks like JUnit, mockito
Exposure to Agile software development process.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix scripting
Exposure to Configuration Management tools (Mercurial, SVN or Git)

Job Summary:

Job Profile: Software Engineer (Java/Python/Scala)

Job Description:

Software development of application or system components including design and review
Unit and Integration testing of developed code
Investigation and root cause analysis of software and system defects
Create and execute approved test plans and analyses and report results
Investigate and report problems
Understand the technical aspects of the products used to support the configuration management activities of the development process
Decompose requirements for testability and provide feedback to the requirement gathering process
Interact with customers/users to support software acceptance process and act as a liaison between development and user community
