      Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our successful team as a Graduate Trainee in Technical Writing team. This position is part of our Technical Writing team located in our Pune office. 

 Job Description:

1. The Technical Writer’s primary job responsibility will be to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of Bentley’s Building, Electrical, Plant and Structural products.
2. Experience with Technical Writing for engineering software applications (e.g. CAD, BIM and engineering analysis)
3. An understanding of architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural or plant design is preferred
4. Ability to author, edit and maintain product help and other documentation to show product users how a product works
5. Ability to understand the needs of audience that will be reading the technical content for using the product
6. Ability to write clearly and concise in the English language
7. Ability to show ideas graphically
8. Ability to work with Product Management team and subject matter experts to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
9. Strong organization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
10. Experience with DITA/XML based structured technical authoring application and content management system is preferred

Job Description :
                 The Red Hat Engineering team is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our    Transactions Middleware team in Bangalore, India. We are developing innovative, open-source transaction solutions to address a broad range of use cases, from enterprise integration to cloud-based middleware. Our engineering team develops and supports a variety of transaction specifications and standards that are consumed both within various Red Hat offerings and externally within our open source communities. In this role, you’ll work primarily with the Narayana Transactions team under the guidance and mentorship of another team member, enhancing the software to address evolving user requirements. There will be opportunities to engage in more speculative work, for example in the past we have created a software transactional memory implementation and transactional file systems distributed in-memory transaction logs, etc. This is a great opportunity to play an important part in the open-source community surrounding transactions and cloud.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Develop software for the Red Hat Middleware transactions suite of offerings with a community-based software development approach
• Interact with globally distributed open source project teams and communities under the mentorship of other engineers in the team
• Collaborate with the team members and additionally with the quality engineering (QE) and documentation teams
• Collaborate with other teams within Red Hat to integrate middleware technology into other platforms
• Perform day-to-day maintenance of our current code base as and when required
• Develop ideas for new components

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or appropriate industry experience
• Experience writing software primarily using Java
• Ability to work autonomously
