Job Summary:

The Red Hat IT team is looking for a Graduate Engineer Trainee to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will work as a member of a highly dynamic and collaborative DBA team. This team is tasked with the handling of all DBA requests related to Oracle Apps databases, Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB. Success in this role requires an outstanding communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to partner with both internal and external business customers.

Job Location: Pune.

Primary job responsibilities:

Good understanding of various databases and data warehouse concepts
Work closely with team members, ensuring we provide a consistent global support experience
Provide an ongoing application maintenance and support

Required skills:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field
DBA certification is a plus
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to learn new processes, tools, and technologies quickly
Solid SQL writing skills
Ability to perform performance tuning of queries, database health checkups, and produce technical documentation
