Job Description

The Red Hat Employee Experience Design (EXD) Quality Engineering (QE) team is looking for a Quality Engineer to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will write new and optimize existing test automation scripts and frameworks. You'll also work on the analysis of the non-deterministic failures, ways to reduce them and report bugs and defects. This team is home to some of the most well-known faces in the international QE community and will set you up for an exciting and rewarding software development engineer in test (SDET) journey. Our team culture will encourage you to come up with innovative solutions to problems and allow you to work with some of the brightest engineers in the open-source industry.

Required Skills:

Good knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
Work experience in writing code in at least one programming language like Python, Java, or JavaScript
Knowledge of HTTP communications
Understanding of testing concepts, functional testing, API testing, and regression testing
Keen observation skills and attention to detail
Motivated with the ability to take direction and work well as part of a team
Interest in learning new technologies; problem-solving skills
Intermediate decision-making skills in day-to-day development
Intermediate written and verbal communication skills in English
